Almost everything from a home renovation, estate cleanout, or yard project.
Drywall, flooring, cabinets, doors, trim, carpet, tile, insulation — all accepted.
Wood, metal, concrete (sized correctly), roofing shingles, brick, block, framing.
Furniture, mattresses, clothing, boxes, general junk and clutter from any cleanout.
Branches, brush, grass clippings, storm debris, landscaping material, stumps (small).
Pipes, fencing, old appliances without freon, structural metal, scrap iron.
All household goods, clothing, books, boxes, and general estate cleanout material.
A short list — most cleanouts never include any of these.
Paint, solvents, motor oil, pesticides, chemical cleaners. Take to Daviess County HHW disposal events.
Illegal to landfill in Kentucky under KY law. Drop at a licensed tire retailer or KY Scrap Tire event.
Refrigerators, freezers, AC units. Freon must be removed first — most appliance retailers handle this.
No liquids of any kind — oil, water, chemicals. Open-top containers cannot safely transport liquids.
Sharps, biohazard material. Contact a licensed medical waste disposal service.
Just call us at (270) 466-1191. If we can’t take it, we’ll tell you exactly where to take it in Owensboro.
The questions we get most often before people start loading.
Yes — but mixed loads need careful sizing because concrete is very heavy. Tell us on the call what’s in the mix.
Yes. Shingles go to the West Daviess County C&D Landfill on KY-815. One square (100 sqft) weighs ~350 lbs — we size accordingly.
Appliances without refrigerant (freon) — yes. Refrigerators, freezers, and AC units need refrigerant removed first.
Empty, dried-out cans — yes. Liquid paint — no. Dried paint on other material is fine.
Have something specific you’re not sure about?
Call before you load. We’d rather answer a quick question than have you find out mid-job we can’t take something.
